The new 62AD dose rate meter from Automess was officially approved on April 11, 2025
The new 62AD dose rate meter from Automess was officially approved on April 11, 2025. As the direct successor to the 6150AD, our customers once again have access to a reliable dose rate meter developed by Automess – precise, robust, and designed for professional use.
The 62AD is available in two versions:
– with a measuring range of 1 µSv/h to 25 mSv/h
– and with an extended range of 1 µSv/h to 50 mSv/h
Only the version up to 50 mSv/h has the PTB type approval certificate (No. DE-25-M-PTB-0032) and is therefore approved for conformity assessment and official verification.
The two-button operation allows for easy handling with the familiar menu navigation of the 6150AD. A newly integrated light sensor replaces the previous light button and ensures automatic control of the LED back light – for optimal readability in all lighting conditions.
The housing of the 62AD is now milled from a solid block of aluminum. In addition to the high-quality workmanship, this also offers the possibility for the first time to manufacture the device in various housing colors – for individual adaptation to internal color codes, areas of application, or customer requirements.
